The Green House® Cottages of Wentworth Place are nestled in an inviting neighborhood with fountains and flowerbeds galore. Our cozy living rooms, dining rooms, and outdoor porches provide comfortable home-like living spaces in which elders can enjoy life, explore interests, and continue to grow in safe, healthy, positive ways.
We offer meaningful engagements that allow our staff to deeply know our elders. We are elder-centered and promote purposeful living as a part of our de-institutionalized setting.
“Green Houses practice what’s called “consistent assignment,” meaning that the same core staff care for the same few residents. “People know you. They know your likes and dislikes. There’s more trust and familiarity. Relationships develop.” – Dr. Zimmerman, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Skilled Nursing
Green House® Cottages of Wentworth Place is proud to be a skilled nursing facility, as certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This means our elders receive the highest level of care from licensed health professionals, such as registered nurses and physical, speech, and occupational therapists. Local physicians make rounds at Wentworth and elders are taken to physicians’ offices as needed.
